Super pissed and annoyed at my boss for going through my phone’s browser history, messages, and apps for 15 minutes in the office.
My boss is also my partner in our classroom, a weird situation, but we’re so short staff and it works. She’s a little bit older than my mom so our relationship is sometimes maternal where I go to her to talk about milestones etc. we also studied the same degree in college, so I would say her and I have a decent relationship but only at work.
She told me today that I needed to take a couple of certification courses before my annual review coming up, that she needed to pay for. This can be done on my phone but I suggested I get my computer but she said it would work fine on my phone and J thought nothing of it. At first, she was doing everything on my phone in the classroom while I finished some work, then she went to the office, again I thought nothing of it. Even when she was in there for a good while longer than it would usually take to get your card information. When I finally got my phone back, I noticed a conversation with my coworker was opened (from yesterday). I thought this was weird, and checked my cache. There I saw my text messages with my coworker, Facebook messages open, my email, my browser history search engine. My boss isn’t very tech savvy, so I don’t think she knows it is very obvious that she went through my phone. Which makes bringing this up even more awkward. Don’t know if I should say something?
