My boyfriend recently started a new job and ended up sick on two different occasions over the span of two months. His boss told him another missed day and he will receive a written warning.
Thursday night he broke his nose and Friday morning his head was pounding, light headed, dizzy, DEFINITELY not in a state to drive 40 min to work. He tried to drive and made it 15 min before he had to stop for a while and turn around so he ended up missing work again.
We are both very young and have never had a meeting with work like this. What advice should I give him?
