My brother refuses to find a conventional job or a steady paycheck. I would like some advice

I consider myself antiwork and socialist, but I have a family to support unlike my brother. The problem is that my brother is now without electricity and struggling to pay his $200 share of the rent and other utilities. He's lucky to be single and debt free, but he owes our mom a chunk of money (she subsidizes him from out of the country). With his car that our mom paid for, I tried to encourage him to Uber/lyft. I'm assuming for political/philosophical reasons he doesn't want to rideshare. It's really frustrating because on top of everything my brother is a huge narcissistic asshole. How do people live the antiwork life and manage to afford rent and utility bills? I'm assuming there are some hard-core antiwork believers in this subreddit that manage to pay for their bills in this late stage capitalist society. Any wisdom would be appreciated, thanks!
