My company is asking us to donate our limited amount of PTO to two other coworkers who are dealing with family emergencies, instead of just approving more PTO.

Just some context: I work for an EMS agency in a major city. It’s the biggest EMS agency in the state and brings in plenty of revenue while underpaying its employees. Yet they still thought they’re ask us to donate our PTO instead of just approving more for these two individuals. Absolutely ridiculous.
