my coworker came into work with symptoms

my coworker just tested positive for covid i believe around tuesday or monday. then yesterday, the day after texting positive, she comes into work and i'm surprised to see her. so i ask her how she's feeling and she tells me that she's not quite in great shape but that she's mostly healthy. mind you, we work in a salon so we have each a different customer coming in every 1-2 hours. to every customer she had, she told them that she “had” covid and that she's still experiencing leftover symptoms but that it's not contagious. meanwhile, during the whole treatment she is sneezing, coughing, clearing her throat and talking with a raspy voice. i found that so disgusting and unprofessional, but i didn't say anything because i'm new and i feel like it's the manager's job to say something or send her home. when i got home, i text…

my coworker just tested positive for covid i believe around tuesday or monday. then yesterday, the day after texting positive, she comes into work and i'm surprised to see her. so i ask her how she's feeling and she tells me that she's not quite in great shape but that she's mostly healthy.

mind you, we work in a salon so we have each a different customer coming in every 1-2 hours. to every customer she had, she told them that she “had” covid and that she's still experiencing leftover symptoms but that it's not contagious. meanwhile, during the whole treatment she is sneezing, coughing, clearing her throat and talking with a raspy voice. i found that so disgusting and unprofessional, but i didn't say anything because i'm new and i feel like it's the manager's job to say something or send her home.

when i got home, i text my other coworker and tell her i don't know if i should call in sick tomorrow because i don't feel comfortable when my coworker is coming in to work with symptoms, and that my parents are unvaccinated so they are at a risk. her response is that we are all gonna get it eventually, and people no longer think it's serious because we're all vaccinated. for context, I live in a scandinavian country where most of the population is vaccinated. just a week ago we were required to wear masks at the salon as well as customers. this week the government deems it no longer necessary but still recommend getting tested often. i don't really agree with her stance, so i only ask in response, “what is the point of getting tested?” (if they will just come into work anyways).

the problem is if i call in sick today, i'm worried she'll tell my manager that i'm not really sick and that i'm just worried about getting covid. what should i tell my manager? like i said i'm new and i'm not really trying to get anyone in trouble or start trouble with others. if it matters, i'm not really attached to my job and hate it anyways, but i like the extra income. though i think about quitting nearly everyday or looking for a new salon.
