ive started this job as a part time since i am at my last semestr of my masters. it seemed like a nice offer, related to my studies and it offered flexible schedule which was perfect during finishing my studies. yeah. i should have decline the offer after heraing about “family atmosphere” during the job interview and the fact that my boss interrupted our conversation to talk to the construction worker that is working on some renovation in the building. and after finding out that i am im fact hired to cover TWO OTHER PEOPLE positions that quitted after only 3-4 months working there. but i stayed, it wasn't the worst, even though i have quite responsible position and lots of work for a part time employee, sometimes i have to come to work 2h before and leave 2h after to make up for the days that i am absent due to my uni schedule. ive talked to my boss about it, how i have no experiance for such resposible position and i am not avaliable in some days and what are they planning to do about it. they told me that they will think about it. in łatę february, its may now. most of my coworkers are nice, but one person. they keep acting very cold towards me to the point that i am actively avoiding asking them anything or interacting with them unless i absolutely have to. important piece information is that there are some tasks that only i can do and if i am not avaliable i am usually asking my coworker that i am sharing an office with to do it for me and i am preparing everything that needs to be prepared for them to just do the bare minimum that have to be done at the exact time and date. also i never work on mondays since i have classes all day. today i recieve a phonecall on my personal numer from that one coworker but i could not pick up since i was in the middle of classes. i texted them if its urgent and they kept asking me some stuff which i answered. then i recived a lengthy text how i didnt prepare anything for that day and that i left a mess with some shipments (i put some boxes on top of others because there was no room for them but i know that this week they would be distributed). mind you im never needed at monday and it is some unusuall situation and i always prepare stuffein advance when i know i will be absent even though i shouldnt have but i am the only person in this position. the message was very unplesant. mind you that we have the same work title and if anyone should do remarks about my performance and organisation is my boss imo. and my boss didnt comment on any of it at all. i am dreading tomorrow workday because i dont know if my coworker went to complain to my boss about it or if they are going to say something to me. in the past they usually were talking about my back but never said anything to my face which i find childish because everything could be handle on a civil conversation without any drama. i dont think i will be extanding my contract and ive already started to looking for another job. what do you think? should i talk to the coworker or wait for them to approach me? if they told anything to my boss, should i show them the text messages from the coworker?
