My current employer just told me they’ve fired people for discussing wages.

Is there anything I can do if they told me in person? I don't really have any physical proof yet, but I have told several of my coworkers about the conversation, and to be wary because of it. I just thought it was pretty bold to outright admit illegally firing people.
