So I was on PTO for my wedding this last 1 1/2 weeks and I had submitted my time and it was all approved and good to go. I get an email on Monday at 11am while on my honeymoon asking for some clarification on which days I had off as there was some discrepancy on their internal pto office calendar.
I replied on Tuesday at 213 am (the soonest I saw the email) saying what the days were and that I would be back to work this Thursday and I'll amend the calendar when I get in. He replied and I quote! “OK – thanks for letting me know – Enjoy your honeymoon.” To me this says “ok no problem, it's all good”
I go into work today and check my bank account and i have no paycheck. So I message them and say “hey whats going on” and check the timekeeping software and he had rejected the original time sheet before he even emailed me and never reapproved it!
So now because pay had already been processed for the week I just don't get paid until next Friday where they will pay me for this last week and the week I just finished! Meanwhile my rent was due and now my account is $300 negative! And there's nothing I can do about it!
Thank goodness I had a emergency fund stashed away or I wouldn't be able to even buy food for the week! I'm beyond livid with them at this point!
