He works at a bank in cyber security. He’s older, a diabetic, and near retirement. For as long as I can remember, he has worked crazy hours. he MUST report to work at 8:30 AM and be at his desk. He’s been working on a project and is still currently there at 12:30 am, and has called me telling me he’ll he home around 2 am but no guarantees. He must report to work tomorrow by 7:15 AM for a meeting. I am currently in bed, lying awake scared that he may crash the car on the way home.
He is being asked to work obscure hours at his age, and I don’t know another person who puts in those types of hours. He told me too that this will be the norm for the summer until the project is finished.
