My first day of work at a security job is tomorrow and I’m already handing in my two weeks notice.

So, a little background. I’m an Army vet who is 80% disabled and just finished my bachelor’s degree last year. I get a decent amount from my disability but it’s still not enough to pay rent and bills in my town. So I recently took a security job. I was infantry so at least it’s something I knew I would be decent at. For the job I had to attend training 2 hours away for a couple days. Which is a drag, but whatever. At least I get paid for that right? Turns out, no. No I didn’t. The travel was out of pocket and the training was unpaid. So during the training I applied for a job more closely related to my degree. (Digital effects and interactive media) Had an interview and now I’m officially a contractor for a Software developer company for more pay before I even start…
