The shop is ran by my former manager Jenny and her husband. They have hired minors and refuses to pay them along with other workers. When employees try to approach the manager about their paycheck, she comes up with excuses and avoids it. They also DO NOT pay the proper amount.
They are also very racist and discriminate towards other poc, They have violated health code regulations and have unsanitary practices, and make workers stay back for extra hours that they do not pay them for. I could go on. Many of us former employees have spoken up against them. They’ve shut down their reviews and have been avoiding incoming phone calls. A former employee has posted a video of the manager Jenny on TikTok. Just search up mango mango Carrollton Texas on TT. She can be seen mocking the former employee who is a minor and her guardian when they confronted her at her shop. She also flicks them off. Mind you, this is a grown woman, who is a mother of three. Her husband who is beside her, in the video, does not do anything.
Jenny also mistreats her kids and lets them sit in a hot car in 100 degree weather for hours. She is always making me look after her kids and but I don’t complain and do it anyway out of concern, making sure they’re okay because of how she treats them.
Anyways, as far as updates, the person who posted the video has claimed that Jenny and her husband know about the video because they’ve reached out to her, and she refuses to accept the pay unless every other employee has gotten paid as well.
Minors who have spoken up are not being heard. I’ve never had this happen to me before, actions have been taken but nothing has been done. If anyone can help us, it would be greatly appreciated.
