She has been waiting for a specialist for her medical problems for years. Last night she got the phone call that they finally had an opening for her to be seen! Obviously she was delighted and texted her boss she needed 1/2 hour off of her shift to see this specialist. Her boss texted that this was unacceptable and she could not allow her to leave as this was her second time she had to see a doctor. Mind you this is how most chronic illnesses work, tends to take more than one doctor visit and not only this it was a specialist that could send her on her way to semi-recovery. She is handing in her two weeks tomorrow and going to the specialist. I’m insanely proud of her and I’m going to put in an anonymous report against the restaurant she works at since they don’t serve alcohol lawfully (getting minors and those without the proper license to sell it) meaning the company will face severe fines and possible loss of their liquor license. So fuck the employers that don’t help their employees!
