My job has had issues with sewage backup for at least 4 years. higher ups know this but still say “you’re just saying that you to close the store early”

I won't give away too much info because I'm not sure if it's the best idea yet. Anyways, I work at a chain coffee restaurant. Legally we have to close the store if sewage backs up. We've had issues with sewage backup the entire time I've worked here, and there are ex employees from 8 years ago who said it happened back then. It comes up thru a floor drain in the back room and in the lobby by the customers. Whenever we report it, we are told it's “not sewage it's backup from the sink drain” even though it smells like sewage and it's brown. The backup in the back room is confirmed sewage. The one in the front they claim isn't sewage. It's convenient that the one the customers can see “isn't sewage”. Yesterday, customers came in and immediately complained about the smell and covered their noses. The manager had us mopping it up all day until the plumber came. This happens almost monthly by the way. Also, legally any employee who is there has to go home and take a shower and put on new clothes. Also all food and coffees must be wasted. But we don't do that. We don't even close. And the one time we did close, they made me stay there all day breathing in sewer water all day??? Even though we didn't have a single customer because we actually closed. We were also reprimanded for closing because “it's in the backroom, just mop it up when it comes up.” I can't imagine how many laws this is breaking. This company is putting their employees and customers at risk to not close. And they gaslight us and say we're trying to close early even though they KNOW it's a problem. It's been a problem for years. And the plumber even asked if we've been flushing toilet paper, because we aren't supposed to so that we don't have sewage backup. So they said it's not sewage backup but then said it happened from flushing toilet paper??? It makes no sense. Someone posted a video of this happening on Facebook a few months ago and the management told the poster that they had to delete it or they would be dragged into legal reprocussions. They weren't even an employee they were a customer. I want to post a picture but I don't know how to post pictures on text posts. Anyways, what should I do?
