my job is asking us to “take your break with your fellow co workers.” What’s up with that?

First of all I'm working Summer School. I was under the impression I was going to be a teachers assistant but one day before school started we were told that we are now “honorary teachers.” They want us to teach four classes (45 minutes each) every day on coding and robotics…….despite the fact that none of us are even familiar with these areas to begin with. They did email us useful links that have helped us staff familiarize ourselves with the material, but I'm someone who likes to be ahead of the curve if I can. With that being said I've been spending my 15 minute lunch break in my classroom preparing for the next days lesson. Apparently, that's a “NO NO” because today the program administrator told everyone over the walkie talkie that we need to take our break with fellow staff to help boost morale………
