I signed up for a part time job 3 days a week for 8 hours each day. The past few weeks I’ve been scheduled 5 out of the 7 days. When I asked why I was told that they were short staffed but the first extra day I came in, they doubled us up on a shift so we pretty much ended up sitting there for 8 hours. I know some people would be happy with extra hours but I was specifically looking for a part time job plus it’s annoying to work just as much as everyone else without the benefits
