I am not having a good pregnancy. I’m very weak and fatigued and can’t work as quick as I did before. Which honestly doesn’t affect my job too much Cus we are a very slow store anyway so it’s not like we ever have hoards of customers waiting. We’re lucky if like 3 people come in the store every hour
Anyway, I’ve been told due to my “situation” they plan on demoting me from a manager and back to regular staff because I’m “gonna be gone awhile”
I’m only in my first trimester. I still have a long way to go until maternity leave.
Ever since they found out they’ve been treating me like garbage and looking for things to fault me for or somehow warrant removing me from my position. Like writing me up for leaving 15 minutes early when we hadn’t had a customer in the store for almost a hours.
I’m not even sure what their game plan is because they do not offer any paid maternity leave or even PTO in general so I don’t know how me being gone for maternity is gonna hurt them.
Is there anything I can do? I’ve started searching for other jobs already but can’t just up and quit until I have secured something.
