I (14m) have been looking for a job, but have been as of yet unsuccessful. A while back, I had the perfect job lined up, close to my house, $13 bucks an hour, easy work. I walked in to apply while I was out on a bike ride, just randomly. I get an interview right away, and the owner has me do a half hour of free work as an observation (I fucked up there, shouldn't have done free work, I was just so excited to get a job so I could have spending money). He tells me I'm hired and gives me a uniform shirt and tells me the dress code. My parents buy me two pairs of pants and a pair of shoes for this. I fill out all the paperwork, and blow through the money I had, assuming I would have more incoming. Three weeks later, I've heard nothing. I text him and he says there's no availability on the schedule. He fucking scammed me into thinking I had a job then just pulls the wool out from under me.
