I work at a small business that sells vintage collectibles. I bought two video games that cost a total of $130 and they don’t work at all. I tried to ask for a refund but they said they could only exchange it for something else. I’m annoyed because I want what I paid for. We have a strict final sale policy, but I’ve been there for a year and I’m pissed off that they won’t give me a refund especially considering our POS system is set up to process refunds. Part of me feels like this isn’t only scummy but also illegal to sell something that the customer should assume works.
