So back story here, I worked at a company that produces paper bowls, plates, whatever. So back in I believe it was November there was a large hack of the Kronos system which tracks all of our times and schedule. We were told that HR / Payroll was going to use the paycheck from the prior cycle to continue paying us until they could get back into the system and correct things. In the meantime we keep track of our time, text it to the office manager and thats that. Fast forward to January and we're told that because of the Hack, several of us will be owing the company pay that we were given by mistake, overpayment. So a couple weeks later I got another job offer and I decide to leave, 1 month goes by and I contact them about my last check, they send me a blank stub saying that they withheld all of the pay because I owed them that money. I mention that I had contacted the department of labor and Wage, couple days later I get a check for $435, its supposed to be for 78 hours at $34 an hour. Needless to say, I'm pissed (not to mention they know I have my first kid coming and they KNOW i need that money). I've got nothing else I just wanted to share, thanks for reading. Fuck that place.
