We get paid $15 an hour for 4 hour shifts to detail 100 machines (by detail I mean hands and knees because there can’t be a speck of dust or dirt visible, including climbing behind treadmills that are against the wall to dust the back of them), mop and vaccuum the entire gym (it’s a fair sized gym), mop and clean the change rooms, clean inside all the lockers, wipe down all mirrors, sweep and mop stairs, refill all bottles and paper towels, and do laundry (loads and loads of towels). And our manager expects us to do all this in 4 hours, only getting paid $15, which is $60 and that’s insane to me.
