My manager isn’t giving me the schedule I need, should I quit?

I'm 19 years old and found a job out of high school cleaning buses. It's unionized in name only and I still pay $1,000/year on dues. I make about $11.90 USD ($15.50 CAD minimum wage) and work the night (7:00 pm to 3:00 am) Monday to Friday. I currently live in one of my parent's rental properties and get discounted rent but it's still $500/month for a bedroom. Even though my classes are only 4 hours, I still can't manage time properly and I am tired all the time. I don't know how I can manage a full 7 hours of class, 2 hours of homework, and 8 hours of work when school starts. My manager has been denying my request and my union representative has done nothing and told me to pull through and wait. My parents told me that if I can't make rent, I have to move back home which is 5 hours away from the city. What should I do? Getting another job is incredibly hard in this city, especially for low-skilled workers with limited availability like myself.
