Here is the conversation I had with my mom about her new employee. Which one of you was this?!
My mom recently hired a new employee in charge of billing for her company. My mom said that it the employee had the best resume she had seen and killed the interview. I am not sure how long the employee worked for me mom, but eventually the employee did not complete a task that my mom gave her, so my mom withheld her paycheck the following cycle.
The employee confronted my mom about her paycheck missing, and my mom told the employee that pay was withheld. The employee quit on the spot, and later sent an email to my mom to notify her that she had reported the company to the State Labor Department. I hope the employee takes further action and wins big. This is the kind of nonsense that everyone is up against.
The best part was my mom telling the story at a dinner party and started off with “you'll never believe this dogshit crazy employee I had!”
