So I've recently started (1m) a remote position for a company that works in Market research. Boiling it down I'm cold-caller whose conducting surveys on behalf of various clients and I have to interview the general public. So already I want to shove a large spike in my eye. (Taking this job was more necessity than want. Used to do something else got injured now I have to suck that money dick)
As part of my 3 month… that's right 3 month probation I have to meet a certain requirement of contribution before I'm offered a role. Until then I'm on a zero hour contact where I won't be given the job until my contribution percentage is 33%, which translates to I've got to make this company 3 times my wage over 3 months just to keep my job. These people have to gall to pay thier workers £4.62 per hour because of thier age train them for 2 days and then demand if they don't triple that they'll lose thier first job.
I've worked in over 22 jobs in my(28m) life so far and never have I seen a compnay so blatant in this. Frankly Aside from being told I should of 'Objection managed' an 11 year old when the number I called turned out to be an Ipad it's one of the few jobs that's not asked my to take part in illegal activity in the first week. The bean counter level is over 9000!
I still don't know whether I should throw up in my mouth or on myself though.
