My new boss asked me on a Sunday evening 9PM if I could work Monday the next morning?

I've just started my new part time job in a tech retail store. It's a small family owned franchise with a few stores and upper management decided some time ago to fire the entire staff and store manager in one of them. The new store manager (my boss) was honest about the cause and said the online reviews had been pretty horrible for a long time and the customer service really bad. So they wanted to hire all new staff members to create a 'better' workplace and also try and turn the numbers around as this store 'was bleeding money'. He had a super long and positive speech about how we were all gonna do this 'together' and everything was gonna be run 'properly' from now on since everyone was new to this. Well let's just say I still haven't gotten a proper work schedule despite accepting this position a few weeks ago. And last night my new boss texted me, on a Sunday evening at 9PM, to ask if I could come in Monday morning to work even though last week I was told I was not needed Monday. 'You can come in 15 minutes later if that helps'.

I really love retail 🙂
