Start a homestead while working part time, only work to maintain/progress skills, get past the point of self sufficiency; jadam, permaculture, back to eden, auquapontics, whatever, all of it. start a community garden where anyone can freely take what they need if they are a member. All you need to do to be a member is consistent, substantial service. Could be anything; picking up trash or planting trees 5 hrs a week, driving groceries to old people, volunteering anywhere, etc., ideally for other members but whatever. Work this up to a proper mutualist society maybe get into bigger, more complicated endeavors, buy more land and split when there are too many members
