Hello, for context I’ve been working at a retail store inside of a mall. We are understaffed (only 5 people on schedule but we need AT LEAST 9.) I’ve noticed I’m not a key holder but I do close/open the store, EOD money counting, cleaning, and all other procedures necessary. I also work as a cashier and sales associate. But they only pay me as a sales associate which at first was $13, but now $15 (I’m in California so it’s just minimum wage.) But key holders usually make $17.50+/hr based on experience. I’m also left in the store by myself, sometimes all day, and I can’t juggle everything: we do ear piercings, sell add-ons (promotion items), cashier duties, cleaning, and talking to customers. Keep in mind they want me to do all that by myself and it’s tough especially on the weekends. When I’m alone I can’t use the bathroom because if I do I have to close the store and walk the mall bathrooms which I can only do if the store is empty. So yeah holding my it in for a long time and I’m pretty sure I have a UTI now. We also have a very strict dress code which means no sneakers: standing for 8 hours with dressy shoes is getting tough now. My feet are getting worse and worse. When I do bring up issues I’m having they (the regionals) brush it off. I was getting really frustrated and decided to post an indeed review. I’ve been working here for 6 months already and am going to quit.
But a week later a regional came in and sort of asked us questions that were almost word for word what I posted on my review.
Now I’m already gonna quit but I’m wondering if this is okay? The review was anonymous but the location is on it. I also put it as if I already quit to not make it obvious I did it.
