I am feeling very disconnected from *** leadership. This was never more apparent then when **** just said in the Q/A session “I hope people are here for more than pay” when answering a question related to compensation. This feels like corporate capitalist gaslighting, and is something I never would have heard before ****. Don’t get me wrong, I love working for **** but my primary concern and reason for having a job is to survive and take care of my family. Company vision is secondary at best. **** understood that. I feel that this statement by **** was severely out of touch with the reality many of us face, and if the rest of the leadership team shares this opinion I am very concerned.*
