We both studied to be social workers. I work in an LGBTQ+ non-profit until I start school again but he's done with his studies. We are looking to buy a house as housemates so he's looking to make money. What's sad about it is he's an anticapitalist punk but he does what he has to do to live a good life. I still have a (probably unpaid) internship and then… what?
Edit: I'm not judging him. I would be happy for him if he got the job because he wants something that pays to live a better life and I'm all for it. I just wonder if I'll have to do the same and it gives me the blues.
