Push for sensible mixed zoning laws so we can have more walkable and bikeable neighborhoods with increased public transit.
Move away from the racist, outdated notion of interstate highways that cut through cities and put automobiles first.
Build actual neighborhoods based around people, not cars.
We need lively pubs and restaurants, and independent businesses that actually stimulate the economy and provide local revenue.
We don't need more Applebee's and Kroger's and Walmart's with gigantic parking lots that we drive our SUV 3 miles to from our cookie cutter neighborhood with 3 other cars and a half acre lawn in our concrete infested drab of a city that is just like every other shitty suburban car-centric suburb in North America (YAY – another Best Buy!).
We don't need to expand I-75 or I-6969 to 14 lanes over 20 years for a billion dollars in an effort to ease traffic.
We don't need to rely on Amazon for our supply chain and internet logistics, we can be okay without instant gratification or dumb plastic shit that we buy to temporarily fill a void.
We don't need a ruling class of Walton's, Bazo's and Satler's.
Tax the rich. Tax churches. Billionaires shouldn't exist.
Collectively bargain and unionize – build a better middle class.
Without unions 4 year olds would still be coal miners and we'd have 7 day work weeks. We don't need Vietnamese sweat shops so we can have $4 H&M t-shirts so some CEO can get his 5th villa in Monaco.
We need to find a balance between working to contribute to a productive society and having time to enjoy life with family and friends. We need time to relax, create, share, and enjoy life with our family and friends.
Push for an end to the electoral college, the senate, and gerrymandering. Our system currently gives a disproportionate amount of power to swamp dwelling sister fuckers.
Push for ranked choice voting to give 3rd parties a realistic chance.
End citizens united and get money out of politics as much as possible.
Government and collectively working together can work if we just get out of our way and stop the 1% from being greedy fucks . Just try it and stop letting rich fucks make us fight with each other instead of them over idiotic social issues. Who fucking cares if Dan wants to be Danielle or if Steve wants to give Mike a rim-job? Who cares if a woman decides she doesn't want to carry an unborn fetus for 9 months? How does any of that effect you?
