So my wife got a job at a local/regional gas station. She was to work overnights at 16/hr but train for a week or 2 at 15/hr. When she got to work her first day, the offer letter was for 10/hr and they seem to have forgotten in the day sense they said they wanted to hire her, she had knee surgery and couldn't stand/squat all day and would need a chair. After they refused to work with her on that, she walked out.
Now she did work for 30 mins on the clock so she should get a tiny check. Our big question is, what rate are they going to pay her at? I think they are going to be dicks and go down to minimum wage. Can they do that? I don't think they can
