Is this normal? I’ve never heard of being able to deny getting fired. I denied because I literally can’t afford to be without work, even with severance. I also figured I’d get more with unemployment if they fire me later. Was this a trap? HR wasn’t present and I was told I couldn’t leave the room or the offer would be voided.
