My workplace is now including how much voluntary OT and extra shifts we pick up when calculating our annual raise.

I am beyond pissed. I would quit now if I could, but I am stuck for the time being. To be considered a 4 or 5 they will now look at how much voluntary OT or extra shifts we pick up. I'll gladly pick up a shift if a coworker is in a bind and they won't give them the time off, but if my boss asks us to stay late or come in I will refuse. I was on vacation last week and she even texted me on Sunday to see if I was home yet (I work Mon-Fri) because we needed extra coverage. We got a new CEO a year ago and this shit was not in place before he arrived. They complain we have high turnover and can't understand why. Well this is one of many reasons.
