NCAA NIL compensation is crazy now. Make boosters cap at 1.5x minimum wage.

NCAA wasn't ready for the “name, image, & likeness” money to influence recruiting and transfers the way it is starting to. Billionaire/millionaire boosters are putting up money to attract student athletes to their school of choice. The athletes deserve to earn money while working and risking their physical health. But it boils my blood to see universities trying to attract athletes with $50k stipends, while they have a $7.25 minimum wage. If the boosters can afford to donate 4.5 million to essentially a “payroll” they are abusing their state's working class. If $50k is an attractive wage, why is it only offered as a carrot to the young athletes? Make the rich boosters have to accept that their tool for recruiting players is tied to the politics and wages paid in their state. College football boosters and political campaign donations come from the same groups.
