I'm a Project Manager at a company that is not doing well. I started here in December (beginning, not end), and absolutely hate it.
The place has no culture, no one works together and we just had a piece on sexism in our workplace pubicly published (and not addressed).
I am debating leaving, as I hate the place. I had my 1-1 with our assistant director Friday and was talking up how I have 900 tasks put into our project software that we have only been using two months. His response “Yeah, I don't care about peoples tasks”. Keep in mind, he isn't my supervisor, but he has 4 direct reports. I am using this as an example.
Anyway, thinking of quitting, moving to Los Angeles and doing my MBA while I look for a new job (currently in Dallas going in 3 days a week). Thoughts? I have 30,000 saved and already have a Masters to use for job apps (Management & Leadership MS).
