Need help changing my contract so that I always get an annual rise in line with inflation

I have been given the opportunity to make amendments to my contract and send it back for review after I threatened to leave last week. I want to add a line to my contract basically saying “ I want and annual pay review at the end of each financial year AND I also want my salary ADJUSTED for inflation before this review is considered” what’s the best way/correct way to phrase this in a legally binding contract?
