Religion is a tool to manipulate the masses (politicians do it), humans are just highly intelligent animals and it’s not in our nature to work 40 hrs a week. But religion is used to make it seem like it’s “God’s plan” for us to work our whole life just to end up with some freedom for the very last bit of our life. Fascism uses religion to manipulate people and it is on the rise because so many people (mostly young people) are starting to understand socialism better and fascists want to keep these people from convincing the rest of the US that marxism actually makes a lot of sense. There are too many older Americans who are brainwashed however we need to convince them. We need to reach out to brainwashed people and convince them if we are ever going to get out of this mess. People of this subreddit who live in America: it’s time to start the goddamn revolution. We are running out of time. We are in late stage capitalism. We don’t have much time. People of this subreddit: it’s time to join your local YDSA chapter or begin a new one. We need to organize. Organize like crazy. I’m sorry if a lot of what I am saying has been said before but I am so done with seeing exactly what’s wrong with the world and feeling so powerless so I needed to rant here. We need to stand together and everyone needs to get involved with political organizing if we are going to save the US and modern society from collapse. Stand with me. Let’s do something.
