Just looking for feedback. I recently needed 3 recommendations for a non-employment application. I’ve been out of the traditional work life for so long that my go-to people have either retired or died. It got me thinking that others are probably in the same situation for a variety of reasons. I wish there was a group of people that will be references for others. I’d be willing to cover for people. These ridiculous requirements have absolutely nothing to do with a persons ability & I can’t believe some places even ask anymore. Thoughts? Am I totally off base?
