At my job, there's a drop off point in the hotel and at the end of the sidewalk to the employee entrance.
We're told employees that get picked up should walk down to the parking lot to the designated pick up spots and vise versa when getting dropped off.
Literally nobody does that.
All day, everyday, people get dropped off and picked up ag the end off the sidewalk which SHOULD be taxi and bus only. I've seen people waiting there for 30+ minutes waiting for someone to come out.
Today, I got dropped off. I jumped out, said something to my ride, and started down the sidewalk. Security walks out and tells me to get dropped off at the designated parking spots.
I said ok, didn't put up a fuss but now that I've thought about it, I'm honestly really pissed off. You never say anything to ANYONE ELSE, who sit there for 10x longer then my ride ever does- and you expect me to be okay with being the literal only one to use the designated parking spaces? Nobody ever uses it- EVER. Its always empty.
Sincerely, I love this job, but this whole interaction has put me off.
