A little over a month ago, I got a new job at a grocery store. The store looks like it’s going to close down soon (empty shelves etc…) and all my colleagues say that they’re 6 weeks late on pays and I havent seen any money since I started. I’m not sure if I should give my 2 weeks notice, wait for the store to close and then they pay me, give them a deadline to pay me which if not met I leave or if I should just stop showing up. For reference this is in Quebec which has strict labour laws. I’d appreciate other ideas or what legal action do you think I’d be able to take
