New hires make more than any of us.

I work for a billion dollar safety company. My former employer was bought by them last year. I got a dollar an hour raise, but lost my department manager title, lost two weeks of PTO, and was told that our numbers for the first six months under the new owners were so low that no raises would be given until 2023 if our numbers improved, which they have due to rampant price gouging on our products. Supposedly, we're having some sort of meeting about this tomorrow (I'm on a much needed PTO day today so I'm not in the office to see all this go down in real time), but I also have a job interview tomorrow on my lunch break, so if I get offered the other job, I'm more than likely going to take it. I think all the other employees have found out about this already too, so a mass quitting is about to happen, and I don't really want to be around to pick up the pieces. It sucks because I used to really like this job before these corporate dickheads got involved.
