Just a bit of a short story that might fit here, use to work as a hotel receptionist at Premiere Inn in the Uk, worked the evening shift quite often which was 3PM – 11PM, I was still at Uni during this so not too long ago. The Night Shift take over guy was constantly late, I can't remember a single time he was on time or a few minutes early, never called it in either. This was a problem because I never got paid for the time he was late, reported it to four different managers and never got dealt with satisfacotrily, mor eoften than not I got told it was my job to phone HIM when he wasn't on time. Not wanting to treat a grown adult like a fucking child I eventually got permission to leave the keys and such with the restaurant manager and to leave when my shift ended, which I started doing, and it was fine, until some guests arrived after my shift ended and no one was there to check them in because he was late, now it's a problem, get a call half an hour after I left about it and told them it's not my problem, my shifts ended. Ended up getting fired for breaking health and safety regulations and such.
