Yes. Quitting my job.
My boss is a compulsive liar, when I was hired at the company I was hired starting with 3 weeks PTO and policy says it can be used after Day 1. 4 months after I requested 4 days off because my wife had a miscarriage so we went on a weekend trip. When I came back, not even 10 minutes after my boss pulls me aside and told me a lie, that apparently the regional manager wrote him off because he approved hours that I wasn’t supposed to use after 4 months (ironic).
He pulls a policy that says that, but the policy was revised in 2018 and I pointed that to him, he still lied with a straight face. Me working in the past with government entities I tend to study and read policy’s on every job, no exception.
He lied to me when I put sick time on my UKG(time card) and said that I wasn’t allowed to edit it… that he deals with that, he also brought in a write off paper for me “but he decided he would throw it away” about this ( I think he wanted to intimidate ).
Finally I’m moving out of state on Monday ( he knows because I wanted to transfer within the company ) but got 2 jobs offers, and 2 interviews. I requested off Yesterday and Today (3 months ago) because I have a tournament, and last minute he declined my day off today because he needed to leave at noon and had no staff to cover the store, he also gave the day off to another guy who requested it after me.
So it’s 7:28AM, was supposed to get in at 7:00AM, he is blowing my phone up and I’m here taking a sh****t. Peace.
