That's what my manager told me.
A member of my team (who has been there longer and has the same title) makes $25k less than me. He was understandably upset and is now asking for more.
When my manager asked if I talked to him about my pay, I said “well, talking about our pay is a federally protected right.” He said that nothing good can come of it, and he has always given people what they asked for when coming on board.
Fuck off boomer. You're underpaying people are we're going to hold you accountable.
