I have been one of the hardest working people in my company of 500 people for the last 7 years. I put in my notice a few weeks ago and my last day was Friday.
My managers response was “ok” when I said I accepted an offer somewhere else. The manager above her said, via email, “I wish you nothing but the best in your new path and hope that it provides you with a continued opportunity for growth while providing a work/life balance”.
My exit interview was a 22 question pdf emailed to me. HR said “I have attached the exit interview questionnaire, we would appreciate it if you complete and return”.
I guess this all reinforces my decision to leave. They really don’t care.
