No passion for current job

For me, it’s important that the job you have is enjoyable and contributes to attributes in your personal life. An example of this would be when someone says “oh I’m an artist!” “oh I’m an archeologist!” or something like “I’m a photographer”. Being a passionate professional was something I once was, I had a small production business and I loved working for myself. People would always talk to me about my profession, and their eyes use to light up, as would mine. Photo / Video was something people highly admired about me, and they thought it was so cool that I do that full time. Fast forward to the pandemic…I struggled to make ends meet, had to go on unemployment, and ultimately had to move my passion to be “side-work” instead. Fast forward to the pandemic…I struggled to make ends meet, had to go on unemployment, and ultimately had to move my passion to be “side-work” instead. I had to find a full time job in an industry I am 0% interested in, and while it certainly pays more and provides benefits….I’m absolutely miserable and a shell of my former self. I hate talking to people when they ask what I do…I no longer have the light inside me. The only positive thing is I am earning a higher income – how can I gain my sense of worth again?
