My GF was suppose to get a Sign-On bonus, based on an email given to her from her recruiter. She signed signed her offer letter for a decent wage and bonus.
3 months into her position she never got her bonus. HR finally replies “Her position does not qualify for a Sign-On Bonus, there are no exceptions.” At this point she wants to email them “Well I shouldn't have signed the offer letter, if I knew I wouldn't get a Sign-On Bonus.”
Nice Bait and Switch from the Company.
