“Nobody want to work.”

One of my coworkers at ShopRite, a fellow front end cashier, just uttered this. I’m 6 hours into my 8 hour shift and I’m just floored. Like, of course nobody wants to work at ShopRite! I make the state’s minimum wage, have to work 8 hours on both Saturday/Sunday, and deal with the general public. Who would, if honestly asked, would really say “yeah, I’d enjoy working for ShopRite?” Luckily I’m leaving at the end of the month to get another job, but like damn, ShopRite really sucks the life out of me. Honestly, it feels like from now on I’ll take psychic damage from seeing large grocery orders!
