Every day I wake up and come to work, I try and see how much longer I have to work. How many years before I can retire. Every. Day!
I like to work. I am decent at my job and I have a good career. I am working the top position in my company and my company is very good with good owner who is kind to us (even though I don't make enough as other companies, it's still good and I am satisfied).
But my God I am done. I literally just want to sleep. Last week I took a 5 days vacation after 2 years and when I realized that half of my vacation was over, I almost wanted to cry.
Like I said, I am the top earner in the company and they're good company with low stress which is what I want in my company. I invest heavily and save every single penny I can to ensure I can retire as early as possible. But I am tired. I am tired of waiting for weekends. I am tired of the fact that after work, I only get maybe a good 3 hours a day only to spend time with my family. I am tired of always having the stress that the economy will cause the business to go down under and causing me to have no work (This isn't US and we are unable to find work easily here)
I am just tired and I don't want to work anymore.
