Okay so I just quit my job Friday and I already have 2 job offers on the table… both want me to sign a non compete. I do not sign these because they restrict your freedom from working in the future.. has anyone gotten around these? At my old job I simply told them “I’m not signing that” and they said ok. I tried negotiating with these two and they said “no it’s standard” now I’m in a rut. I understand most of these are not enforced but I had issues in the past. Ugh
