Not exactly my experience, but my mother’s.

-Background-

My mother works at a financial press company and has a sub-par salary. She works avg. 12.5 hours a day and is constantly scolded for no reason.

Main story:

In 2020, my mother joined a job in a small company as a “project executive”, and receives a salary of approx. $25k a month is not enough for our household to live on. Her department has about 3 supervisors and about 5 other people including her. The first year was just yelling for being 3 minutes late or requesting to not work overtime that day for a special occasion and the usual YOU WASTED . This year, however, many people quit and the companies who hired her company to do stuff were crazy. She had to do 5 jobs in 3 in the morning! She was more of a junior member of the company so she was ordered to work the night shift most of the time.

Now, today is a disaster. My mother went to work at 21:00 yesterday, and she had to deal with the leftover jobs from the whole of March TODAY IN ONE SINGLE DAY. I was shocked, and I decided that she wasn't qualified to do 15+hrs of work on her own. She didn't even have time to eat until 14:00 today. After that very brief meal, she continued to work the hardest she could. By the time the 09:00 shift left work, she was still working on the leftovers of her screwed-up supervisor. At 19:54 she finally returned.
